"This old restaurant isn’t the easiest place to find due its inconspicuous signage. It isn’t always easy finding parking spots in front of the place so you would either need to be lucky or walk a distance to the place. Environment-wise, the place does not have a modern look and it does not look like it will be getting a renovation in the near future. The darker interior may put off some customers but we quite enjoyed our time there. The food here is surprisingly good even though a lot of dishes do not have a high-end presentation. It goes without saying that the overall food price is expensive here. We spent around RM60 a person and thankfully, the food quality was worth the value. For seafood lovers, there are 2 different lobster and oyster dishes which follow the market price. The tiger prawn and salmon were delicious (salmon isn’t too dry and tough). Also, I love their homemade garlic bread and it doesn’t taste overly salty if you dip it into the mushroom soup. For families that have kids, I recommend their chicken pasta dish as it was wonderful. The service here is a bit slow due to only 1 person taking orders and serving the customers. It look like the owner is the cook while his wife is the one serving us so customers would need to be patient when waiting for their food to arrive. Other than that, the lady taking our order was cordial and easy-going which made our time here enjoyable. Needless to say, we will gladly come back again in the future. I hope the food quality continues to be maintained as there aren’t a lot to top seafood restaurants in Sungai Petani."

If you want to organize a small gathering with quality food (the chef is the boss himself) please do come here. It’s pork free too!"
